Arrival in Buenos Aires

On the way in March to Antarctica to run the Marathon Tours’ Antarctica Marathon 2016,  we flew from Toronto, Canada to Santiago, Chile then over the Andes to Buenos Aires (13 and a half hours).

I could not resist the airplane window shot of the mountains. We loved the colours!

When we debarked from the plane and entered the terminal the welcome sign included Armenian wrtiting.

We had been booked into the Plaza Hotel. They had a lovely outdoor pool, though we didn’t have time to dive in.

We met up with Jim and Tammie and did a little exploring.

The next day we had a nice half day bus tour of Buenos Aires.
