On the road to Kamloops

It was hard to leave Whistler, beautiful and I wanted to go skiing. The road called…

The river and rail following each other was pretty.

Then the twisty roads and lakes.

We try to avoid chain restaurants and find local flavour; here we found Hungry Herbies.

Arriving at Kamloops, we found an inexpensive hotel near the centre of town and went for a hike on local trails.

The trains were being shunted and we recalled the women’s 2016 world hockey championships will be held in Kamloops. They touted it on the railway bridge.
